We are all lucky to live in an area where there are so many opportunities to attend musical performances of every kind.  Many of our own teachers and staff are active performers in the Los Angeles area so be sure to ask them about their upcoming performances and how to attend.  Going to a rock concert, the opera, a musical, or an orchestral performance can not only entertain, but inspire a student to identify with music as a form of personal and cultural expression.  And don’t forget about those student discounts!
